The Pélodytes Trail | A walk in Anse de Moidrey
Le Pélodytes Trail runs through the Anse de Moidrey, a former meander of the Couesnon which has now become a protected natural area. Throughout the loop, you’ll discover wet meadows, polders and various habitats that support the local wildlife. The route takes its name from the spotted salamander, a small amphibian characteristic of these wetlands. Depending on the time of year, it is also possible to spot various species of birds. Accessible on foot, by mountain bike or hybrid bike, and on horseback, this route offers a wonderful alternative way to explore the landscapes of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. From our holiday cottages and guest rooms near Mont-Saint-Michel, this outing fits easily into a holiday focused on nature and local heritage.
